The early bird forecast for the weekend is not bad with late starts but an even later finish around 6 pm on Saturday and after 6 pm on Sunday. We are not planning to come out but if you feel like flying a few kms it may be worthwhile. I will try to comment a little later in the week.

Saturday had a solid overcast until after 3 pm and no flying at all.
On Sunday strong wind had developed by 2 pm and after 5 or so launches Tuggy Phyl called it off due to a 20 kt quartering crosswind, gusting higher. I got lucky and had the last launch. Aloft my gadget measured wind from the north west up to 30 kts. I trried to get to Boort against that wind but oborted my attempts twice. After 3 hours in the air the quartering wind had not abated and made for an interesting landing on 36.
